Wade Cohoon...
Sharon Schmidt...
Principal/Grades 7-8
Wade Cohoon was born and raised in Denver, CO. As a youngster, Wade always wanted to be a forest ranger, living and working in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. However, the Lord had a better plan for him. Instead of crawling into bear caves and monitoring wildlife, he led Wade to become a teacher. His teaching strengths in science are geared toward the outdoors, as his room decor will testify to.
Wade graduated in 1977 from Martin Luther College in New UIm, MN. He earned his BS degree in education in 1984 from Martin Luther College, the same year he married Bethel Kemmitz. They have been privileged to raise five children. Wade has been teaching for 20 years, all in the great state of Wisconsin. He is currently teaching his eighth year at Crown of Life and serving as principal. He is also pursuing a masters degree in leadership from Martin Luther College.
Wade enjoys numerous outdoor activities with family and friends. He also enjoys going to the movies, which he finds easy to use in relating much of the material he teaches to his students. He and his wife, Bethel, try to be at all of the soccer, football and basketball games that their children participate in.
