The Gospel of the Trees

The miracle of life! Every spring we see this miracle. The buds on trees begin to swell and suddenly burst open, showing all their beauty. Beauty is only one of God's gifts. For as the trees purify the air, so also we are purified when we live in The Tree Jesus.

A Greek word for tree is "Xulon." Xulon can also mean a cross. So you see the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden as well as the cross of Christ is for the healing of the nations.

I see the tree and the cross as the Tree, Jesus. I see His branches and leaves as a designation of the Holy Christian Church, which is to be found throughout the world wherever the Gospel is preached. The Holy Christian church, that is all believers, the communion of saints, is as dependent upon Jesus as branches are on the trunk of the tree.

Jesus states in John 15:5 "I am the vine. You are the branches."

Jesus says that those who live in me while I live in them will produce a lot of fruit. But you can't produce anything without me. Jesus also says: "If you live by what I say, you are truly my disciples." You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Jesus is Lord of my life. I am planning to live all the days of my life as a branch in the tree Jesus.

It is my hope and prayer that all who read this will want to be a branch upon the Tree, Jesus, and come to know the joy of the Lord.

Praise the Lord! And lift high the tree of the cross!
